Colombia is well established as a sourcing country for high-quality fine flavor cocoa. The country offers an ideal climate and optimal soil conditions for a wide range of cocoa varieties. Criollo and Trinitario, amomg others, are some of the finest cocoa beans and are known for their unique taste and aromas.
During our buyer's trip, we introduce interested importers to an exclusive selection of reliable producers of cocoa beans and cocoa derivatives from different regions of Colombia.
In addition to cocoa mass, butter and powder, the IPD producers offer cocoa nibs, shells, and couvertures.
We also arrange contact with Colombian companies offering natural sweeteners (panela) and exotic dried fruits for the chocolate and snack industry.
All the companies have been carefully selected by IPD and evaluated in advance for quality, export capacity as well as social and ecological standards.
We attach particular importance to the protection of natural resources and therefore work exclusively with companies that are committed to deforestation-free products and transparent supply chains.
