Eastern European Association of the German Economy


The Eastern European Association of the German Economy is the most important association of German companies in Eastern Europe, operating in 29 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, South-East Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia. The Association promotes the exchange of best practice and practical experience among its members and the exploration of business opportunities in these countries. In this capacity the Eastern European Association also represents the interests of German business vis-à-vis the German federal government and the governments of all partner countries.



GD Holz


GD Holz e.V. is the general association of the German timber trade. It bundles the economic interests of 900 member companies and represents the industry vis-à-vis politics, organizations, media and society. According to the GD Holz's own estimates, the association represents around 60% of the German timber companies and 80% of the industry turnover.



German Fruit Trade Association


The German Fruit Trade Association (DFHV) represents the interests of German companies dealing in fruit and vegetable, i.e. import-export-companies, direct-marketing companies, wholesalers and retailers. The DFHV member companies generate around 70% of the total turnover of the fresh fruit and vegetable sector in Germany.



Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI)


Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) is the economic development agency of the Federal Republic of Germany. The organization promotes Germany as a business and technology location and supports companies based in Germany with global market information.


Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) provides the foreign trade portal iXPOS - the official platform for foreign trade promotion of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The foreign trade portal iXPOS supports German companies looking to enter foreign markets and also offers information for international entrepreneurs seeking to tap into the German market. The portal also features a B2B community, where professionals can network, market their business, and find expert advice.



Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)


The GIZ provides services worldwide in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is its main commissioning party. The GIZ works with the private sector, fostering successful interaction between development policy and foreign trade. In around 90 locations worldwide the GIZ offers demand-oriented, tailor-made and effective services for sustainable development.  



Global Business Exchange Programme (GloBus)


Implemented by the GIZ on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, The Global Business Exchange Programme (GloBus) is an innovative project-based approach to developing sustainable economic co-operations. With the goal of establishing long-lasting business relationships between German businesses and companies from Morocco, Peru, and Colombia, GloBus offers special trainings in the partner countries, targeted matchmaking during business trips to Germany as well as full support during the initial stage of business cooperation. Thus win-win situations are created that benefit both the German economy and the partner countries. 



NEM e.V.


The NEM association represents the interests of its members who are engaged in areas such as food supplements, dietary foods, supplementary balanced diets, pharmaceutical products and functional food.



Senior Experten Service (SES)


With the aid of retired specialists, the Senior Experten Service (SES) provides volunteer expertise to small and medium-sized companies as well as public institutions, authorities and vocational training institutions in developing and emerging countries. Thus SES assignments help advance both the prospects of local populations as well as German exports and safeguard jobs the world over.                                                           



The Association of the German Flower Wholesale and Import Trade (BGI)


The Association of the German Flower Wholesale and Import Trade (BGI) is the national interest group of German cut flower and pot plant wholesalers and import dealers. The BGI promotes, maintains, and sustains the flower and plant wholesale sector in Germany and advocates its member’s interests vis-à-vis national and international authorities, organizations, associations, and other corporations. The BGI cooperates with partners on different levels to be jointly successful in the national and European flower and plant sector.



The Foreign Trade Association of German Retail Trade (AVE)


The Foreign Trade Association of German Retail Trade (AVE) is the top organization of  importing retailers in Germany. The association has represented the external economic interests of the German retail trade and supports a strict commitment to social standards in supplier countries via the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI). 



Waren-Verein der Hamburger Börse e.V.


The Waren-Verein der Hamburger Börse e.V. is the federal association of foreign and wholesale trade with canned and frozen products, dried fruits and vegetables, edible nuts, spices, honey, organic products and related products. The association represents its member´s interests on national as well as on European level and is a recognised authority in the import trade of processed foods.

Belgium Developement Agency (BTC)


BTC is the Belgian development agency. For the account of the Belgian state, it supports and provides guidance to development projects across the globe to eradicate poverty.
Together with its partners, BTC makes available expertise, personnel and financial resources, with the mission of building a world where women and men live under the rule of law, have equal access to quality public services and are free to pursue their aspirations.



Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI)


CBI is the import promotion agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. With its solid network of international players, CBI enhances the competitiveness of small and medium-sized exporters and producers in developing countries by providing, among other things, sector-relevant data as part of a "market intelligence" approach for exporters.



Chamber Trade Sweden (CTS)


Chamber Trade Sweden is an international platform and non-profit organization founded by the chambers of commerce in Sweden to enable business to expand internationally and make better use of both local and global chamber and business networks. The focus especially lies on collaboration with local organizations and networks in the sectors industry and manufacturing, green technology, agribusiness and lifestyle products.





Finnpartnership is the Finnish business partnership programme that supports companies in matters concerning business operations in developing countries. Finnpartnership provides companies and organizations the Business Partnership Support Facility, Matchmaking service and wide-ranging advisory services. The final goal of the programme is to enhance economic growth in the target countries, diversify their economy and the range of exports, and to reduce poverty.



International Trade Centre (ITC)


Established in 1964, the International Trade Centre (ITC) is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations, dedicated to supporting the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This means that the agency enables SMEs in developing and emerging economies to become more competitive and connect to international markets for trade and investment, thus raising incomes and creating job opportunities, especially for women, young people, and poor communities.



Retail Association Austria


The Retail Association Austria is an advocacy group of Austrian companies with the mission to support its members in the environment of changing market requirements. The Association represents trade interests vis-à-vis key dialogue partners such as political decision-makers, employees' organizations or the media.
The Association's portfolio includes a range of services, e.g. the Import Information Hub Austria, an import information program that assists local traders in procuring raw materials and products that are not available in Austria.



Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO)


SIPPO facilitates the market entry of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) from selected partner countries in the EFTA and EU region. The basis of SIPPO's import promotion service portfolio consists of support for export-minded and export-capable SMEs through so-called "matchmakings" that take place at international trade fairs as well as buyer and selling missions. 





Virke – the Enterprise Federation of Norway – represents over 20.000 businesses with more than 225.000 employees. Virke works for the improvement of the framework conditions for its members and fosters a Norway that values and supports those who run businesses.

Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce & Sectoral Association (AACCSA)


The Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce & Sectoral Association (AACCSA) is a voluntary membership organization in Ethiopia with more than 15,000 member companies. AACCSA is an autonomous, non-governmental and non-profit organization which promotes trade and investment by providing demand driven services to its members in order to establish favourable business environments based on international best practises. Such services include the areas of business development, arbitration as well as investment and trade information. 



Agence de Promotion des Investissements Agricoles (APIA)


The „Agence de Promotion des Investissements Agricoles“ (APIA) is a Tunisian public agency. Primarily, this organization focuses on the promotion of the private sector in agriculture, fishery and associated services. Through their dedicated expertise, APIA supports respective companies in successfully implementing their projects.



Agricultural Export Council (AEC)


The Agricultural Export Council (AEC), a non-profit organization with over 1000 member companies, represents the Egyptian agrifood exporters. The AEC provides support in technology, networking, management and vocational training to promote the international competitiveness of the Egyptian agricultural sector, to increase the export of agricultural products and to open new markets to its members.



Asociación de Exportadores (ADEX)


The Asociación de Exportadores (ADEX) is a business institution founded in Peru to represent and provide various services to its members: exporters, importers, and trade service providers. Its objective is to strengthen the competitiveness of companies in order to generate profits, promote exports and investment, develop exportable supplies and contribute to the national creation of wealth and employment.



Cámara de Comercio e Industría Peruano-Alemana


For more than 45 years the Peruvian Chamber of Foreign Trade has been supporting and maintaining the bilateral trade relations between Germany and Peru.  Moreover, it supports actively the German-Peruvian trade relations by providing various services to its more than 200 members.



Centre de Promotion des Exportations (CEPEX)


For more than 40 years the „Centre de Promotion des Exportations“ (CEPEX) has been promoting Tunisia's export trade. Thanks to many years of professional experience and a competent international network, CEPEX has established itself as a widely recognized institution aiming at the international placement of Tunisian products and services. 



Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kyrgyzstan (CCI)


The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kyrgyzstan (CCI) is a non-profit private sector association. Aiming at the promotion of the Kyrgyz economy and its integration into the world economy, CCI particularly focuses on improving foreign trade conditions and advancing the export of products and services. 



Directorate General of National Export Development (DGNED)


DGNED is an Indonesian non-profit government agency focusing on export development. In order to identify new overseas markets and business opportunities for Indonesian producers, DGNED provides market research, consultation on export procedures, licensing requirements, and financing. 



EKONID (AHK Indonesia)


Since its foundation in 1924 and its reopening in 1970, the German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (EKONID) has developed into a reliable and competent business partner for German and Indonesian companies. EKONID's expertise ranges from market information and business planning to legal and corporate consulting, trade fair and event management and advertising. EKONID sees itself as a responsible member of the Indonesian society and promotes bilateral economic relations in order to secure long-term investment and trade between the two countries.



Ethiopian Horticulture Producer Exporters Association (EHPEA)


The Ethiopian Horticulture Producer Exporters Association (EHPEA) is a private-sector association that promotes and safeguards the competitive position of the Ethiopian horticulture sector within the global market. In cooperation with the relevant international institutions, EHPEA provides its members with the necessary support in areas such as technology, networking, market-access and market intelligence. 



Food Export Council (FEC)


The Food Export Council (FEC), established by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, is the link between private sector exporters and the Egyptian Government. Aiming at improvements in the legislative and business environment for Egypt’s processed food industry, FEC focuses on enhancing the image of the sector and promoting its competitiveness on the international market.



German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC)


For more than sixty years the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce has been promoting bilateral business relations between Egypt, North Africa, the Middle East and Germany. As the largest organization in the framework of business cooperation between Germany and the Arab world, GACIC plays a pivotal role in Egyptian and German business cooperation.



German-Tunisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry


For more than 36 years the German-Tunisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been promoting investment and trade between the two countries by providing various services to its members. These services include market information research, business contact brokering, as well as investment and HR services. The AHK in Tunisia is a competent local partner thanks to its broad network. 



Nepal Herbs and Herbal Products Association (NEHHPA)


As an umbrella organization Nepal Herbs and Herbal Products Association (NEHHPA) represents the interests of the Nepalese herbal farmers, producers and traders and seeks to establish sustainable business system. Since 2002 NEHHPA has been promoting the herbal sector in Nepal. The Association aims to improve the livelihood of the underprivileged by providing farmers with market access and thus creates income opportunities for rural households.



Nepal-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NGCCI)


The Nepal-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NGCCI) is the first bilateral chamber for the promotion of trade and investments between Nepal and Germany/Europe. In its mission to foster bilateral trade and represent the interests of its members, the NGCCI has become a well-known and widely recognized institution that provides a wide range of high-quality services to support companies active in foreign markets.



Peru Export and Tourism Promotion Board (Promperú)


PROMPERÚ, Peru’s Export and Tourism Promotion Board, is a government agency that brings public and private sector initiatives together. The agency's goal is to create and promote a diversified and competitive range of local products and services that meet international quality standards. Its activities focus on the expansion of Peruvian businesses in foreign markets in order to generate local job opportunities and promote Peru's image as an exporting country and an attractive tourist destination.





PROCOLOMBIA is a government agency of the Executive Branch of the Government of Colombia in charge of promoting Colombian exports, international tourism and foreign investment to Colombia. The agency provides domestic companies with support and integral advisory services for their international trade activities and facilitates the design and execution of their internationalization strategies. Furthermore, Procolumbia supports foreign companies with trade, legal, and educational information about Colombia's market, products, services and companies.
